ShadeWorks supports Polyfab's Polytex shade sails series. Shade sails are an excellent product to block sun in outdoor/leisurely residential or commercial areas. Polytex sails come in a variety of colors, and block more rays than a standard shade cloth. They are available up to ~24ft (width) x ~30ft (length), and weigh an average of 7oz. per square yard.

-Shade Sail Process-
The first step is checking if shade sails are the right product for you space and application. We get regular interest in shade sails, however, most people are not prepared for the cost that comes with it. The majority of the cost is the structural support the sails REQUIRE for product longevity and more importantly safety, minimum $3,000.
The next step is to draw up a design, get a quote and begin preparations for the shade sail installation. A structural engineering design is required due to the heavy winds loads shade sails face. Attachment points, footers, and poles must be completed.
A typically time frame for a shade sail installation is around 4-6 weeks. Any factors from allowing concrete to dry, or getting poles fabricated & powder-coated add time.
That's it! Shade sails have a relatively quick installation, however, it is the preparation that can be longer task. If you have a time limit on a shade sail project we recommend starting sooner rather than later due to the prep-time required.
